The 2 bedroom flat building plan is the most popular among Nigerian home owners, especially those who live in Lagos. The reason for this is that the size of a 2 bedroom flat is just right for couples or small families with children. It also has a good area to house your family and guests.

A 2 bedroom flat can be built on either a single or double storey depending on your preference. As we have mentioned above, two bedroom flats are built with different types of blocks and materials such as bricks and cement concrete blocks.

How many blocks needed for 2 bedroom flat?

If you build a 2 bedroom flat using bricks, then you need about 30 bricks per square meter of wall surface area. If you build it using cement concrete blocks like us at Premium Block Nigeria Limited (PBNL), then you need only 12 blocks per square meter of wall surface area! This means that if you want to build a 100 square meter house made up of 4 bedrooms, living room and kitchen, then all you need are 400 blocks in total

The first thing is to determine the size of your flat. There are different sizes available and you can choose the one that suits your needs best. The bigger the house, the more expensive it will be to build.

The next step is to hire a reputable builder who can help you with all aspects of building your dream home. You can also find some great guides on building plans and how to draw them yourself online or at your local library. However, if you want to be sure that everything is done right then it is best to hire someone who knows what they are doing and has experience in this field.

The cost of building a two bedroom flat depends on the location, size and design. The cost of a two bedroom flat built in Nigeria ranges from N45,000 to N50,000 per square metre. The cost of building materials is usually between 6% and 12% of the total cost of construction.

The cost of labour depends on the level of skill required for each trade. For example, an unskilled labourer will charge about N3,000 per day while a skilled mason can earn up to N12,000 per day.

A simple two bedroom flat would have about 2,400 square feet which could be built at an average rate of about N5,800 per square foot
