How to Build a Bear Frog

Build-A-Bear has lots of different animals you can create, but did you know that you can also build your own frog? This is a great way for kids to make their own stuffed animal and learn about frogs. Here’s how to build a bear frog.

What You Need:

Stuffed animal base (Choose between the Build-A-Bear Workshop® Classic Bear or the Build-A-Bear Workshop®, Limited Edition Frog)

Slippers (Leave these out of your finished stuffed animal.)

Stuffing (You want a lot of stuffing.)

Felt or fabric scraps (Use these to decorate your frog.)

  1. Choose Your Base. The first thing you need to do is choose which kind of bear base you want to use as the body of your stuffed frog. If you’re using the frog base, make sure that it’s not too small for its new head, since we’ll be adding another piece later on! If you’re using the classic bear base, make sure it doesn’t have any holes in it or broken seams where stuffing will leak out when we sew up our new frog friend’s mouth later on!
