The $1 billion stadium cost $720 million to build and was funded by Arlington voters who approved a sales tax increase in 2004 to help pay for it. The stadium features three levels with additional suites and club seats on each level. Its retractable roof can open or close in about eight minutes to allow for various weather conditions such as rain or sun.[1]
