Step 1 – Measure and Cut the Hole

Measure your dog’s head and neck widths, as well as his shoulders and hips. The larger the measurements are, the larger the hole you’ll need in the wall. Use a drywall saw with a handle so you don’t have to kneel down while making cuts with it. Use an electric drill with a masonry bit if possible; this will make cutting through concrete much easier than using an ordinary drill bit because it has carbide teeth instead of steel ones which will dull quickly when cutting concrete (which is very hard).
