I have to admit that I’ve always wanted to build a full size bed frame with drawers for my spare room. However, I knew that the project would take a lot of time and tools that I did not have at hand. What started as an idea has now become my latest home decor DIY project where I decided to use a bureau design.

This bed frame is built using 2×6 lumber and it is made to fit a full size mattress. The frame is made of solid pine wood, with a natural finish.
The cost of this project was $120 including all the materials. The tools I used were a table saw, router and drill press. This project took me about 8 hours to complete.
